FAQ

FAQ

Everything you might be wondering before taking the next step.

Yes, absolutely. Many people come to me feeling unsure or overwhelmed. The free consultation is a gentle, no pressure conversation where we can explore what’s been happening and what support might be most helpful. You don’t need to have it all figured out before reaching out.
That’s okay. Change often begins with one person. Even when only one family member attends sessions, shifts in understanding and responses can create a ripple effect within the wider family system. We work with what’s possible, not what’s ideal.
Sessions are calm, supportive, and conversational. We take time to slow things down, make sense of what’s happening beneath reactions, and gently explore patterns with curiosity rather than blame. There’s no pressure to talk about anything before you’re ready, and everything moves at a pace that feels safe.
No — my work is coaching based and trauma informed. That means we focus on understanding patterns, supporting nervous system regulation, and creating practical, meaningful change in the present and moving forward. If therapeutic support is more appropriate, I will always be honest and supportive in signposting.
Many people come to this work feeling frustrated or disheartened after trying other approaches. My work is relational and tailored. Rather than offering one size fits all strategies, we focus on your family, your experiences, and what will support real, sustainable change — without judgement or pressure.
There’s no fixed answer — every person and family is different. Many clients choose around 6 or 7 sessions before moving to monthly support or booking as needed. Some people find a single session helpful for clarity, while others benefit from ongoing support over time. We’ll talk openly about what feels right for you, and you’re always in control of how you continue.
Yes. My work is grounded in somatic, trauma informed approaches, and safety is always a priority. We work gently, collaboratively, and at a pace that feels manageable. You are never pushed to go faster or deeper than feels right.
The best place to begin is with a free consultation. This gives us space to connect, talk things through, and decide together whether working together feels like a good fit.
