Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is one of the approaches I offer as part of my coaching.  I have found it to be hugely beneficial to my own healing.  For example, I used to find it impossible to relax and to sit still for even a minute, now I am able to enjoy family time and be present.  When things get busy and I sense that I am not able to relax again, I can use hypnosis  to identify what my subconscious mind needs in order to get back on track.

Before I was trained in hypnotherapy, I didn’t know that all hypnosis is self-hypnosis.  It is not possible to be hypnotised if you do not want to be hypnotised!  Hypnosis is a natural state of deep relaxation that we all experience on a daily basis such as when we go into autopilot when driving somewhere or just before you fall asleep.

Have you ever driven somewhere and thought afterwards, how did I get here? You don’t remember every part of the journey as your sub-conscious mind knows what to do and helps you get to where you are going.

Sometimes there are unhelpful thoughts and feelings that are present in the subconscious mind, and at times they take over.  No matter how hard you try to create a new habit or approach something challenging from a different perspective….those old habits and ways keep showing up when you could really do with them stepping aside.

Hypnosis is a safe, powerful, natural state of deep relaxation and focused attention which produces heightened awareness and opens the unconscious mind.  It allows the mind to gently access internal thought processes that are not always readily available to our conscious minds. 

Under hypnosis, we can apply new thought processes to changes we wish to accomplish. By allowing our conscious mind to align with our powerful unconscious minds we are able to generate permanent and lasting change.
